1. Access key compliance data for all Apps in one overview
Consolidate key security information for all vendors and applications (Apps) across your organization into a single matrix with our new Compliance Overview.
Use this feature to quickly verify vendor adherence to your organization’s security requirements and identify gaps in your data — helping you to mitigate security risks, prepare for upcoming audits, and stay compliant.
To access this view, navigate to Apps > Compliance Overview.
How does it work?
The Compliance Overview is automatically populated based on selected questions in your Vendor Audit Questionnaires. This allows you to fully customize the featured columns and data according to your organization’s needs.
You can use our default App Compliance Checklist questionnaire, customize it, create your own, or simply incorporate questions from your existing vendor questionnaires.
To include a question in the App Compliance Overview, simply select “Yes” under “Include in App Compliance Overview?”

2. Personalize your Asset and People dashboards
You can now customize the table view of your Asset and People dashboards, by hiding columns which are not relevant to you.
When in table view mode, click on Customize Columns, and toggle off any columns that you want to exclude from your dashboard. These changes will apply to your view only; they will not affect the dashboards of other users of your account.
3. Find your license admins under App Business Owners
As part of wider improvements to our App functionality, all application users will soon be managed at the application level, rather than being tied to individual application licenses.
In preparation for this change, all your license Administrators have now been migrated to application Business Owners.
This update to how App admins and users are recorded in Setyl will offer several benefits:
Operational efficiency: Import and view a full list of application users, regardless of their license type, in one place. Setyl will automatically map their role level, last activity date and license type.
Audit capabilities and cost savings: After uploading the user list from your third-party application, Setyl will flag any out-of-date or missing information. This allows you to update your Setyl records and cancel or redistribute any unused licenses.
4. Sync your ConnectWise asset data
Automatically import assets, identify shadow IT, and turn Setyl into your source of truth with our MDM and RMM integrations — which now also include ConnectWise.
These integrations enable you to automatically discover and import listed assets, alongside their specifications, installed software and assignees, into your Setyl account.
In addition to ConnectWise, our MDM and RMM integrations and other asset-detection sources include Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, Jamf, Okta, JumpCloud, N-able N-central, Cisco Meraki, Datto, Kandji, Snipe-IT, SimpleMDM, Google Endpoint Management, Lansweeper and Atera.

5. Access clearer activity logs
We’ve revamped our activity logs for improved clarity and visibility of each action. These activity logs help you better track your team’s daily activities, while also contributing to your company’s change management database, which is essential for security audits.
As a reminder, you can view, search and filter the combined Activity Log, which covers all changes made across the platform, on the left-side navigation menu of your Setyl account. Additionally, you can access activity logs specific to individual entities within each Asset, App and People profile.
We hope you find these new functionalities and improvements useful!
