Discover our latest platform updates this month, designed to help you streamline your asset and license management, detect shadow IT and improve budgeting:

Automatically populate asset warranty information
Import assets from CDW and NinjaOne

1. Automatically populate asset warranty information

Build a complete picture of your IT landscape and inform budget decisions through improved asset lifecycle tracking with our new Warranty Finder service.

Setyl can now automatically fetch and update key warranty details — including purchase date, warranty expiry date and warranty type — for Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS and Apple assets listed in Setyl. (Additional manufacturers may be added on request.)

This feature is now available to all customers on our Advanced plan. For more information on how it works, read our help article or book a demo.

2. Import assets from CDW and NinjaOne

Automatically import assets, identify shadow IT, and make Setyl your source of truth with integration(s) to your asset-detection source(s).

We’ve now expanded our RMM integrations to include NinjaOne, and introduced connections with resellers, starting with CDW, which allow you to automatically create assets purchased from your resellers directly in Setyl.

‍Browse all our MDM, RMM and other asset-detection integrations — which now cover more than 95% of asset-detection sources used by IT managers worldwide.

3. Look out for direct connections to Zoom and Slack

To help you streamline your software asset and license management, we are building direct connections between Setyl and selected software applications.

These integrations will automatically sync accurate data into Setyl — including license assignees, activity dates, subscription contract information, and more — helping you to rightsize licenses and reduce unnecessary spend.

Our direct connections to Zoom and Slack are currently in beta and will be available to customers on selected plans in the next few weeks.
