1. Automatically update assets based on new MDM/RMM information

Let your integrations do the work for you with our new Asset Auto-Update functionality for assets imported from connected systems.

Setyl now automatically updates asset details when new information is detected from your connected asset sources (MDM, RMM, cybersecurity platform, etc.). This includes the computer name, assignee, operating system, RAM, CPU, MAC address, and asset ID (optional).

This functionality is enabled by default. If conflicting data is found, Setyl will use your highest-priority integration as the source of truth. You can adjust these settings in Settings > Company Settings > Asset Data Sync.

2. Sync your Aruba, UniFi and intelliHR data

Streamline your asset management and gain complete visibility over your organization’s IT with our latest out-of-the-box integrations.

You can now automatically detect and import assets, alongside their specifications and assignees, from your HPE Aruba Networks and Ubiquiti UniFi systems. Plus, automate your people management with a new integration with Humanforce intelliHR.

3. Keep on top of asset useful life with scheduled reports

Improve your planning for asset removals and budgeting for replacements with our new Asset Useful Life Expiry Reports.

You will now receive email updates on the status of your assets’ useful life. These reports outline the number of assets within their useful life, and those reaching the end of their life in the next 30 and 60 days — giving you a clear picture of the overall condition of your estate.

If you haven’t already, you can set your default useful life lengths by going to Settings > Company Settings > Asset Types, locating the relevant asset type, and clicking Edit. This will apply automatically to all assets within that asset type which include a purchase date. It can also be manually adjusted for specific assets.

4. Categorize your assets into more asset types

We have added several new Asset Types to Setyl to help you better classify your asset inventory.

From mini computers and media devices to POS equipment, navigate to Settings > Company Settings > Asset Types to view the full list and switch on the categories that are relevant to your organization.
